| dc.description.abstract | Mitolojide Tanrısal karakteriyle hem övülen hem de insanlığa geçmesi bir tehlike unsuru olarak resmedilen ve ihtiyatla karşılanan tekhnê, hâkim felsefî düşüncenin belirli bir çerçeveye oturmasıyla bu yapı içerisinde mevcut hiyerarşiye uygun bir konum edinmiştir. Mevcut ontoloji, tekhnênin eylem alanını tabii olarak sınırlasa da, tekhnêye yönelik ihtiyatlı yaklaşım devam etmiş, tekhnê çoğunlukla kontrol altında tutulması gereken bir bilgi ve etkinlik türü olarak addedilmiştir. Bu kontrol, dönemin felsefî yönelimine uygun olarak ya ahlâkî ya dinî motivasyonlarla sağlanmıştır. Modern dönemle birlikte geleneksel felsefî varsayımların değişmesi, kadim düşüncede tabii görülen sınırları ortadan kaldırmış, diğer şartların uygun hale gelmesiyle teknoloji dediğimiz yapı mümkün hale gelmiştir. Kadim tekhnêden farklı olarak modern teknolojinin sahip olduğu potansiyel, onun eylem alanını genişletmiş, üretim modu farklılaşmış, teknoloji; varlığı, bilgiyi, değeri etkileyen durumlar ortaya koymuştur. Teknolojinin hem manipülasyon alanının, hem de zamansal ve mekânsal etkilerinin genişlemesi, yeni duruma uygun ahlâkî bir tutumun gerekliliğini ve bunun nasıl temin edilebileceği sorununu ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu hususlar teknoloji felsefesi literatürü içerisinde değere ilişkin tartışmalarda yer bulmuştur. Söz konusu literatürde yeni durumda teknoloji-değer ilişkisini tespit edebileceğimiz belirli problemler tartışılmakta, güncel bir mesele olarak değerlerin devrede olduğu bir teknolojinin imkânına yönelik arayışlar devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, tekhnêden teknolojiye gelinen süreçte, bu alanın değerlerle ilişkisi, ilişkinin tarihi süreçte ne şekilde değiştiği yukarıda belirtilen süreçler ve problemler ekseninde, sonuçlarıyla birlikte ele alınmıştır. Buna ilaveten insanî ilimlere ilişkin teknoloji felsefesi literatürü çerçevesinde, değerlere ilişkin tartışmalar ve değerlerle yönlendirilmiş bir teknoloji tasavvuruna yönelik perspektifler sunulup değerlendirilmiştir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | Technê, in mythology, was both praised with its divine character and its transmission to mankind was portrayed as an element of danger so was cautiously approached. With the formation of a specific framework of the mainstream philosophical thought, technê acquired an appropriate position within the hierarchy of that paradigm. Even though the existing ontology naturally limits technê's operation field, the ambiguous attitudes toward technê proceeded and technê was considered as a type of knowledge and an activity that should be brought under control. This control was provided either by moral or religious motivations in accordance with the philosophical tendencies of the time. With the modern period, traditional philosophical presuppositions had changed and consequently the boundaries which were seen as natural in the ancient thought were removed. After all, when other conditions were suitable, technology had become possible. Unlike ancient and classical technê, potentiality of modern technology has expanded its field of action, and mode of production has been differentiated. Therefore technology has brought out conditions affecting being, knowledge, and value. The expansion of temporal and spatial influences of technology together with the extension of its manipulative powers have revealed the necessity of an appropriate ethical attitude to this new situation. This also has raised the problem of how this ethical attitude can be ascertained. These considerations have taken place in the discussions on values in the literature of the philosophy of technology. In that literature, we can observe that specific problems concerning the relationship between technology and values in the new situation have been discussed. And the philosophers of the field are continuing a quest for a kind of technology that potentially engages in values. This study investigates certain problems that emerged as the transition from technê to technology took place. More specifically, it looks at the relationship between technê/technology and values, and how these relations have changed over time, in light of the above mentioned historical processes, problems, and their consequences. In addition to these issues, based on the humanities philosophy of technology literature, debates on values and perspectives on a value oriented technology have been presented and evaluated. | tr_TR |
