| dc.description.abstract | Özellikle XVIII ve XIX. yüzyıllarda İslam dünyası askeri ve teknolojik anlamda modern Batı'nın gerisinde kalmış, Müslüman ülkeler de büyük oranda Batı'nın sömürgesi haline gelmiştir. Bunun üzerine bazı Müslüman entelektüeller tarafından Kur'an, sünnet ve hadislere yani ilk kaynaklara ve selef döneminin saf İslam'ına dönmek ve onu, neredeyse her açıdan etkin ve üstün kabul edilen modern Batı'nın alınması gerekli, hatta zorunlu görülen unsurlarıyla bir araya getirmek, mevcut kötü durumdan kurtulmanın yöntemi olarak teklif edilmiştir. Bu önerinin liderliğini yapanlardan bir tanesi de üstadları Afgâni ve Abduh'un izinden giden Reşid Rıza'dır. Ancak teklif edilen bu yöntem, aynı zamanda yeni bir zihniyet ve dünya görüşü inşa etmiştir. Bu da modern şartlarla uyumlu yeni zihniyetin, hem dini metinleri yeniden anlamasını ve yorumlamasını, hem de dini metinlerden olan hadislerde sözün sahibi olarak Hz. Peygamber'in yeniden tasavvur edilmesini zorunlu kılmıştır. Neticede geleneksel tasavvurdan farklı, modern şartların ve düşünce dünyasının da etkin olduğu yeni bir peygamber tasavvuru ortaya çıkmış ve karşılaşılan pek çok problem bu tasavvurla aşılmaya çalışılmıştır. | dc.description.ozet | Islamic World, especially during 18th and 19th centuries, fell behind of the modern West and Muslim countries mostly became the colonies of the West. Thereupon, some Muslim intellectuals have proposed a method to get rid of the current bad situation. This method is to return to the Qur'an, Sunnah and hadiths, so the first sources and pure Islam of the Salafist period, and to bring it together with the elements that are considered necessary, even mandatory to take from the modern West which is considered effective and superior in almost every way. One of the leaders of this proposal is Rashid Rida who follows in the footsteps of his masters Afgâni and Abduh. However, this suggested method has also built up a new mindset and worldview. This new mentality compatible with the modern conditions necessitated both re-understand and interpret religious texts and re-imagine the Prophet as the owner of the hadiths as the religious texts. As a result, the imagination of a new prophecy in which modern conditions and modern thought were effective, was different from the traditional imagination. And many problems that were encauntered were tried to be overcome with this concept.
