Abstract
Mukaddimetü?l-Edeb - written by Zemahşeri between 1128-1144 - is a very useful dictionary could help the ones who would like to learn Arabic. That dictionary has a very large vocabulary regarding the casual life of its century: Textile, sailing, shoemaking etc. and their glossary; tribes and genealogical names; religious facts; medicinal herbs, various illnesses, organs etc. Therefore Mukaddimetü?l-Edeb, has been translated into many languages since it had first written to date. The oldest and the certain date translation of the dictionary that has been written in Harezm Turkish is Yozgat Edition. The handwritten edition is totally 347 sheets and prepared by İbrahim b. Mahmud Sufi el-Müezzin near Semerkand-Buhara on 27 May 1257 (=10 Cemadilevvel 655). Regarding the place and date of edition, it is said that Yozgat Edition includes some words and signs of the Author.
