Abstract
The word "traditional" is used for activities that started to be carried out centuries ago in the world. The tradition here refers to the change in the meaning and functions of an activity centuries ago, and its transfer from generation to generation. In this regard, oily wrestling, from the point of view of Turks, wrestling from traditional sports is the most followed and practiced among the known types. However, wrestling wrestling is not only a fighting sport for Turkish society, but it also has different meanings. For example, in preparation for war, it is the sharpening of the enemy, the blessing of power at the point of satisfaction of the soul, the formation of myths describing the national power and the training of a spiritual value such as morality, even instinctively nurturing, the embodiment of force and belief, and even symbolization of worship from time to time. In connection with this, the "collective subconscious" expressed in scientific language, in other words, in places where the Turks settled instinctively, in connection with the calendar, in the course of sheep and lambs, in toys, stove smoking, holidays and other ceremonies, the wrestling in the absolute place, within the framework of religious motifs It was also determined that it was given at the rate of seven, nine, forty multiples.
