| dc.description.abstract | The subject of thesis is on the views of Fakhr al-Din al-Râzû in the context ofgeneral problems of knowledge theory. The thesis consists of one introduction andtwo chapters.In the introduction, the principles upon which Razi?s epistemology was basedand the concepts used by al-Râzû in his knowledge theory have been dealt with.In first chapter, the possibility of knowledge has been discussed stating thatRazi?s preference was in favor of the possibility of knowledge. It has been identifiedthat in the basis of al-Razi?s general view that the knowledge can not be defined liesthe definition understanding of Aristotelian logic. It concluded that al-Râzû made asimilar definition of knowledge theory to the present knowledge theory, though heargued in general that the knowledge does not need for any definition.In the second chapter, the sources of knowledge and its types have beendiscussed. While al-Râzû approached the sources of knowledge as that ofTheologians, he adopted the method of philosophers when discussing them. Al- Râzûwho established a peculiar theory of knowledge was influenced from both thetheologians and philosophers. He studied the subjects with philosophical terms andphilosophical discussions. And this method of his set an example for his followers.Al-Râzû, who adopted a subject centered understanding of knowledgeconcerning the types of knowledge, fundamentally did not divide the knowledge,although he referred to different knowledge such as divine and human knowledge.It is observed that al-Râzû had a being centered understanding of knowledge and thathis views of the definition of knowledge contain some problems from the angle ofthe divine knowledge. It is seen that the deductive knowledge as a part of humanknowledge had a significant place in al-Râzû?s epistemology. In al-Râzû?s opinion,one must deduce in accordance with the true information, though it is possible tomake deduction in every matter. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | Konu bilgi teorisinin genel problemleri bağlamında ele alınıp, Râzû'ningörüşlerinin tespiti şeklinde bir giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır.Giriş bölümünde Râzû'nin epistemolojisinin üzerine kurulduğu temellerüzerinde duruldu, bilgi teorisinde Râzû'nin kullandığı kavramlar ele alındı.Birinci bölümde, bilginin imkanı tartışıldı ve Râzû'nin tercihinin bilgininimkanı yönünde olduğu belirtildi. Râzû'nin, bilginin tanımlanamayacağı şeklindekigenel görüşünün temelinde Aristo mantığının tanım anlayışının yattığı tespit edildi.Râzû, bilginin tanıma ihtiyacının olmadığını belirtmekle beraber, günümüz bilgikuramında yapılan bilgi tanımına benzer bir bilgi tanımı yaptığı görülmüştür.kinci bölümde bilginin kaynakları ve türleri üzerinde durduk. Râzû, bilgininkaynakları konusunda kelamcılar gibi davranırken, konunun işleniş şeklindefilozofların yöntemini benimsemiştir. Kendine özgü bir bilgi teorisi ortaya koyanRâzû, hem filozoflardan hem de kelamcılardan etkilenmiştir. Konuları felsefikavramlar ve tartışmalarla işlemiştir. Onun bu tarzı, kendisinden sonrakiler için birmodel oluşturmuştur.Bilginin türleri konusunda bilen merkezli bir bilgi anlayışını benimseyenRâzû, ilahi bilgi ve beşeri bilgi şeklinde farklı bilgilerden bahsetse de temelde böylebir ayrımı benimsememiştir.Râzû'nin, varlık temelli bir bilgi anlayışına sahip olduğunu, bilginin tanımıkonusundaki yaklaşımlarının ise ilahi bilgi konusunda bazı sorunlar taşıdığınıgözlemledik. Beşeri bilginin bir kısmı olan istidlali bilginin Râzû epistemolojisindeönemli bir yere sahip olduğunu gördük. Râzû, her alanda istidlal yapmanın mümkünolduğunu, istidlal yaparken önemli olanın doğru bilgilere bağlı olarak istidlal yapmakolduğunu belirtir. | tr_TR |
