| dc.description.abstract | This thesis focuses on the Ottoman pottery culture in 18th century with an approach of functional view based on the Sûrnâme-i Vehbi, which illustrates the circumcision ceremony of sons of Sultan Ahmed III in 1720, as the main visual material, trying to link to socio-cultural history.In this context, the main focus is to examine the material, color, figure and function of vessels described in miniatures of Surname-i Vehbi classified into several categories based on the theme of paintings: the banquet; the parade of guilds; circus shows; gift giving; visiting Old Serail. The price of those vessels at the market place and the customs at the time were also examined as well.The conclusion of this thesis explains a part of Ottoman culture in 18th century. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | Bu tezde 1720 yılında Sultan III Ahmet'in oğulların sünnet düğününün anlatıldığı minyatürlü yazma Surname-i Vehbi'yi görsel kaynak olarak alınarak, 18. yüzyılın kaplarına fonksiyonel açıdan yaklaşılmış ve Osmanlı çağının sosyal ve kültürel tarihiyle bağlantılar kurulmaya çalışılmıştır. Surname-i Vehbi'deki minyatürler; ziyafet, hüner oyunları, esnaf alayı, hediye sunumu, Eski Saray'ı ziyaret gibi sahne konularına göre ayrılarak burada tasvir edilen kapların malzemeleri, renkleri, formları ve işlevleri incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca, Osmanlı çağında pazarda satılan kapların fiyatları ve kaplara ilişkin örf ve âdetler de incelenmiştir. Yapılan bu incelemeler sonucunda 18.yüzyıl Osmanlı kap ve mutfak kültürüne ilişkin bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. | tr_TR |
